COVID-19 Response
What we're doing to keep our guests and employees safe:
Designated one or more worksite supervisors to monitor all procedures - one will always be present to ensure we are following all procedures and protocols we have put in place.
Limited capacity to 50% of normal seating
Provided 6 ft of separation between parties at tables & bar
Closed waiting areas - reservations preferred, guests wait in cars or outside until table is ready
No bloody mary bar or self service of any kind can be provided
Posted signage to door as required by state mandate “guests & staff may not enter if you are sick or have recently been sick”
Guests must wear face coverings until they reach their table
All FOH staff and managers must wear face coverings in the dining area
All BOH staff to wear gloves and masks at all times
No shared condiments or misc items on tables to prevent spread of virus & germs
High contact area cleaning: These areas will be cleaned and sanitized continuously throughout the shift as well as between each guest use. Including but not limited to: MENUS, TABLES, HIGHCHAIRS & BOOSTER SEATS, DOOR KNOBS/HANDLES, POS SCREENS, TV REMOTES, CHECK PRESENTERS / PENS, BATHROOM FAUCETS, DISPENSERS, STALL GRABS, BROOM & MOP HANDLES etc.
Train all staff on use of PPE, importance of cleaning between guests, managing symptomatic guests. It is important that staff and guests feel comfortable dining with us. To ensure this, we may have to ask a visibly symptomatic guest to leave the premises.
As an employer we will notify all employees if a known COVID case has entered the store
We will close the restaurant immediately if an employee shows multiple symptoms of COVID, as well as follow with full sanitization procedures as recommended by the State of Michigan and Calhoun County Health Dept. We will also notify the Health Dept as well as anyone who may have come in contact if an employee is diagnosed with COVID-19.
Require doctor's note to return if sick with COVID (or anything else)
Install physical barriers in areas like bar, POS, host stand where guests cannot stay 6ft apart
Limit number of employees in any one area
Keeping records of body temperature and self evaluations for all staff upon entry daily.
While we all adjust to this new normal together, rest assured that Grand River Brewery is taking all necessary steps and then some to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
Thank you for dining with us!
