A Word From Our Brewer

Greetings from the Brewery! Where hop aromas permeate the air, stainless steel is the metal of choice, and beer is king. We had an awesome year in beer, and can’t wait to show you what we have planned for 2020. Since it’s the New Year, here are some of our goals and projections for the coming seasons. We will be expanding our Sour Program in Marshall. Many of the slumbering sour barrels will start to harvest.  Along with a consistent brew schedule now that the fermenters and brew house are ready to go. (All beer brewed in Marshall will be exclusive to the Marshall taproom) 

 

With Marshall’s sour barrel-aging in full swing, this frees up some barrels for non-sour experimentation. In years past we’ve had some fun releasing small batch barrel aged beers. We plan on rediscovering our barrel program this year. These brews need time to hibernate, so be patient.

We will be continuing the Lake Rat Variant Canning Program. Look out for new versions of our favorite American Cream Ale. 

One of the most exciting goals for 2020 is expanding our Lager program. With our beer stocks in good standing and the expansion of 3 new fermenters, this has given us the ability to tie up more tanks for longer periods of fermentation. We’ve got 2 new Lagers already bubbling away and many brew sheets to follow. So stay tuned!

Brews on deck:

Mammoth Skull and Double Ryan Nugget Hopkins will make their triumphant return in the next couple weeks. A fresh batch of Hazy Day Daydream will be making its transition from fermenter to bright tank in the near future, making it one step closer to the bottom of your mugs. Under the Oaks will also be making a stealthy return in Jackson, as well as Two Sisters in Marshall. Watch out for a special Valentine’s Day release!

 

St. Paddies Day is our favorite day of the year and probably many of yours too. We are already planning and brewing for it. We’re shooting to have 22 of our craft beers on tap including:

Blarney Stoned Irish Stout- NITRO and Standard Carbonation

Freckled Face Hustler Irish Red- NITRO and Standard Carbonation.  

And of course a green beer!
